Astrology Basics:

At the moment you were born, the planets, the moon, the sun, and the star constellations that are the 12 signs of the Zodiac, were all in a specific place (whether it was daylight or night!). The same force (type of gravity) that holds the planets in their orbit around the sun, and which holds all the stars in their specific locations in our galaxy, effects you here on earth. The combined forces from all those bodies in the universe effect each of us on the earth in a very real and significant way. All of those forces also effect each other, depending on the angle at which they meet and depending upon the way that the qualities of each universal body interact with the other, which then effects you in a particular way.

The way these forces are aligned with each other, and their nearness to you at the moment of your birth, determine what your basic personality is like – the framework of who you are, by which everything else you experience after that moment will be measured. These forces determine how you will be inclined to perceive your world and react to your world, in other words they determine the framework of your personality.

You still have absolute free will, given to you by the Creator, so you can be whoever you want to be. Astrology helps you see and understand your basic personality makeup, so that you can use that information to see and experience your hidden talents, see what motivates you in order to use that knowledge to lead you to fulfillment, and see how to overcome whatever weakness or self-doubt you may have.

Cancer Horoscope March 2026

CANCER (Jun 21 - Jul 22) Water. Ruling Planet Moon

This is yet another fairly intense month, Cancer, with both inner world and outer world activity. Saturn and Neptune have recently come to the perfection of their conjunction, at 0° Aries, as was featured in the recent Solar Eclipse from mid-February that initiated the lunation cycle that still governs the first half of March. This is rather telling for you because Aries represents your career or vocational sector. You may find, continuing into the present month and even beyond, that there is increased dedication there with also a tendency to idealize intended outcomes. This can be regarded as potential illusion that must be tempered with an equally large dose of reality thinking like a bucket of cold water thrown. The combination of Saturn and Neptune, as also bolstered by Uranus and Pluto on either side, is a tricky one to navigate, and you may be sorting things out for many weeks in relation to adjustments for your work in the world. Also to be mentioned, Mercury is in retrograde motion through Pisces all this month as well, when you take the post-retrograde shadow into account. You could find yourself re-thinking multiple facets of your beliefs and worldview, or perhaps travel or educational initiatives may be seen in a different light, as these are all areas that come under the purview of ninth house matters where Mercury resides. Another significant factor in this month’s astrology for members of your sign is the extreme prominence of Uranus in the late degrees of Taurus, or your social sector, and additionally affecting your twelfth sector of unconscious process. Intuitional information may come to you in sudden bursts, and you do well to heed this call arising from the depths of your psyche, which may tell you true in spite of the dictates of ordinary logic and the tendency to deny such a source. With the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of March 3rd ideas and learning become vastly enhanced and it seems true that both these modes of knowledge must be taken into account, along with Mercury’s retrograde motion. Career considerations are an enormous factor for you all through, especially in the month’s second half. This month provides another wild and crazy ride so that it’s good to remember that all this has its important purpose.

Virgo Horoscope March 2026

VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sep 22) Earth. Ruling Planet Mercury

This is another powerful month for you, Virgo, with implications for your key relationships amidst further outer planet activity. The recent Solar Eclipse New Moon from mid-February stimulated all three outer planets and by its late Aquarius positioning emphasized both your sixth sector of day-to-day events and experiences, including habits and health regimens, and as well your seventh or relationship sector by its proximity to the Pisces sign. Transformational Pluto is also featured in the recent New Moon. The, too, Saturn and Neptune, which were in their then-close conjunction at 0° Aries, are also this month affecting your eighth sector of intimacy, partnership agreements, depth exploration, and personal evolution. Because the New Moon was also closely square to Uranus, located in your ninth sector of higher mind, beliefs, and worldview, this area, as well as vocation and partners, might continue to see surprises and intuitional revelations that could serve to shake things up. Mercury, your ruler, which lay in close trine with Jupiter in the recent New Moon eclipse, as March begins is retrograding through your opposite sign of Pisces, thus also affecting your key partnership connections. It is possible that certain of your habitual patternings from the past might be out of date with present realities for you, and ready for a change, or, alternatively, that you might come to find that whatever you thought were the solid hallmarks and guideposts of your life have hidden fractures that you never before suspected. In the current month’s first week, the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in the middle portion of your sign, at 12°, brings up further issues of self and other and re-emphasizes the Lunar North Node in your opposite sign, indicating the importance of partnership in your life as you continue to evolve. This second eclipse of the current season represents another quite powerful juncture which will leave its mark for months ahead. In some sense this month’s focus on and introspective questioning of the important partnerships in your life, be they personal, friendship, or business ones, might be with you until the summer. As March begins to wind down, there is also the late Pisces New Moon of the 18th, casting yet another slant on your partnerships and your relationship dynamic, and the Aries Solstice of the 20th, when Mercury also stations to direct motion. To summarize, this is another doozy of a month amidst the onset of another climactic year.

You may find yourself in an introspective state around these kinds of thoughts, to include reviewing and sorting out which of your existing habit patterns may have gotten past their shelf life and be ready to be left behind. The Virgo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of March 3rd is also quite potent, featuring fortunate Jupiter at the top of your chart, in your sector of career and profession. Your twelfth sector of unconscious process and inner work is thus highlighted, meaning that in seeking to resolve the questions required by your restless current mentality, you might need to explore the depths of your psyche, and of your intuition, for the most pertinent answers. Then we have the late Pisces New Moon of the 18th, and the Aries Solstice of the 20th, when no fewer than seven planets are arrayed in your opposite sign. This is a powerful indication for the complexity of your relationship dynamic in the latter part of the month, and, with Venus there in partile square with expansive Jupiter, the chance as well for positive outcomes. In any case there will of course be lessons to which you will do well to pay close attention, as your own pathway forward into authenticity could be your own most important production.

Previous New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius – February 17th
During the first two weeks of March, the New Moon Eclipse in late Aquarius is in effect in terms of the thirty-day cycle that continues to unwind right through to the 18th date of the subsequent New Moon. This solar eclipse lunation cycle continues to activate your fifth sector of creative expression, pleasure, and any children in your life. Your sixth sector of day-to-day routines, health and work environment may also be affected. Due to strong Uranus is this recent New Moon eclipse, a disruptive or simply surprising event might shift your romance or project focus, cause a creative outburst within you or maybe a new inspiration towards joy that you hadn’t fully explored heretofore. In the Pisces sixth sector of service as well, in this recent New Moon eclipse, along with the North Node conjunct Venus, your ruler, there is also the highlighted presence of Mercury, so that a thoughtful reassessment of your higher purpose or life mission is likely to be on the menu for the current month. By the beginning of March, with Mercury is moving retrograde through this same sector, represented by the Pisces sign, there will be an introspective quality to your experience as your search for better answers to the question of where your life is taking you, and why.

Saturn-Neptune Conjunction – Strongest to March 7th
This is one of the most significant configurations of the whole year and it’s very influential during March. Activating your seventh sector of partnership and how you relate to others – this conjunction may mark the edge of a key seed moment for your partnership dynamic. What you expect from others or what you expect from a partner, meets a defining limit laced with illusion and potentially confusion, and yet also some sense of the realization of the end of illusion. At the same time, a seemingly well-established boundary could disintegrate. Disillusionment around a particular relationship can arise – the rose-colored glasses, coming off. Since this aspect can feel confusing or disorienting, it might help if you can build your capacity with uncertainty. The rippling out of this transit might, over time, assist you in restructuring your boundaries and expectations within relationship, as well as how you show up.

Mars Enters Pisces – March 2nd
As Mars ingresses into Pisces, he slips into your sixth sector of service, routine tasks, workplace, and health. While you may be a taskmaster during this transit, you will likely notice that your ability to work quickly could be energized, and perhaps involve a dedicated partner. It could be a prime time to adjust any bad habits that hinder your productivity or health, and to address conflicts that may arise in your day-to-day habitual experiences. You might want to be careful of burnout and it would be wise to quickly tend to any irritations or inflammations that come up in the body.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – March 3rd
The Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Virgo brings emotional awareness to your twelfth sector of unconscious process, retreat, spiritual healing, and inner work. With a Pisces stellium in opposition illuminating your sixth sector of daily habits/tasks, physical health, and your workspace, you may recognize how an outgrown habit has been hindering you, or the way that newly formed depth explorations could trigger a new level of awareness around what is going on in your subconscious. Because Venus is in aspect to Chiron, The Wounded Healer, itself in a conjunction with Eris, there is a lot to be gained by attempting to delve into internal wounding that might bee ready for a greater degree of living acceptance, leading to healing of such issues. There could also be revealed an imbalance between the attention you give to “productivity” verses the time you spend recharging so that this might need re-adjustment as well – or an event may force that restructuring. Jupiter blesses this eclipse with potentially expansive and growth-oriented outcomes.

Sun Trine Jupiter – March 3rd – 6th

During this short transit, you may find rewards for hard work, or you may find it energizing and fulfilling to earn recognition for what you do to be of service at this time. You could keep your eyes out for new career opportunities and ways to advance as Jupiter blesses your public status.

A compromise could be ready and available to help smooth out recent relationship issues and this moment can act as a lovely starting point towards more understanding and acceptance within relationships.

Jupiter Stations Direct in Cancer – March 10th
When Jupiter stations direct in Cancer, he positively enhances your tenth sector of professional goals, public image and authority! This transit supports receiving accolades in your professional life, recognition from superiors, being given the opportunity to up level your social standing. This transit assists you in feeling more confident about career direction and choices. Focusing on your long-term objectives may feel especially fulfilling.

Mercury Retrograde Conjunct Mars – March 13th – 15th
As Mercury retrogrades in conjunction with Mars, in your sixth sector of health, habits, workplace and service — it could be a good idea to check in with how well your physical energy and body has been handling your workload, an adjustment to health routines may be due. Also affected could be your seventh sector of partnership with important others, creating new focus there as well. Since the New Moon forms a productive sextile to Uranus, you may be in for a series of lovely surprises or revelations that might serve to catalyze clarity around how to take better care of your health, discard old, outmoded habits, or to more effectively bond with your partner. This New Moon features Venus, your ruler, in close aspect to fortunate Jupiter, as of recently now moving in a forward direction, and this presages good luck in all that you may attempt in the coming weeks.

Aries Equinox – March 20th
As the Sun enters Aries, the Aries Equinox begins and marks the start to the astrological new year! An outbreak of enthusiasm radiates through one of the most sensitive sectors of your chart – your seventh sector of partnership and others. You may passionately form new relationships or tend to current partnerships while you are more present within them now. The Aries Sun also helps heighten your awareness around what you expect out of your relationships – encouraging you to be more forthright and authentic when expressing yourself to others.

Scorpio Horoscope March 2026

SCORPIO (Oct 23 - Nov 21) Water. Ruling Planets Mars, Pluto

This is another rather intense month for you, Scorpio, when you add it all up. The recent Solar Eclipse in Aquarius that kicked off the lunation cycle governing the first two weeks of the current month featured all three powerful outer planets plus Saturn. This signaled, in the case of Trickster Uranus, an ongoing instability with your relationship dynamics and partnership agreements, with the possibility of potential realignment. Transformational Pluto continues to occupy your fourth sector of home and family concerns, where your traditional ruler, Mars, also resided in the recent eclipse New Moon, indicating a renewed focus there. This might reference changes in your physical dwelling space, or its residents, or factors of your psychological roots to include issues with respect to your family of origin. There are implications as well for your creativity and sense of joy. These will likely see the tides of change visiting you, as this month continues. The other outer planet, Neptune, has a powerful influence as well in the current month due to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, highlighted and nearly exact at 0° Aries in the recent New Moon. Lodged in your sector of service, health, day-to-day habitual routines, and your workplace, this brings both ideals, illusions, and their opposite in disenchantment, a dose of reality and also a distaining of the practicality thereby implied, so a complicated archetypal combination for you to have to deal with. The fact that Mercury is also retrograde in Pisces or your creativity sector as the March month gets underway might be added to this mix, as the reflective period of questioning and review also affects how you see yourself going forward. With the very potent Virgo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of March 3rd, your social sector is emphasized, implying renewed focus on your friendships, community, future plans, and long-term goals. You might also find an emphasis on seeing through the influence you carry from your creative projects out into the wider society that you are equally a part of. The 18th and the 20th of March are also extremely significant junctures, when the late Pisces New Moon and the subsequent Aries Solstice feature a large stellium of seven planets, counting Eris, Feminine Warrior for soul intention, going forward, highlighted in this New Moon. All in all, this is quite a month for putting your most authentic foot ahead and making your key relationships front and center in your movement toward greater integration and maturity.

Your style of communicative outreach could also turn to a new direction with these effects from the late-Aquarius position of Sun and Moon. Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – March 3rd
The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo draws emotional awareness to your third house of communication, siblings, and local environment. Mercury Retrograde Conjunct Mars – March 13th – 15th

This friction may force you to rethink your relationship with your environment and those in it. It is essential to take your time before reacting to frustrations; reflect first to avoid rushed conflicts, miscommunicated anger, or the urge to race through mentally demanding tasks.

Aquarius Horoscope March 2026

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18) Air. Ruling Planets Uranus, Saturn

This is yet another in a series of powerful months, Aquarius, due to significant placements of outer planets in the relevant lunation charts, with seeming no letup. This month in particular features your own personal evolution, based on strong placements of Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune in the recent Solar Eclipse New Moon which took place last month in the late degrees of your sign. This New Moon eclipse was closely square Uranus, your ruler, for added emphasis, and initiated the intense thirty-day lunation cycle that covers the first two and a half weeks of the March month. Transformational Pluto, placed early in your sign, continues to imply profound changes for your sense of identity. As you continue to inquire as to who you at base really are, the factor supplied by the storied Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries is somewhat confounding. This conjunction was highlighted in the recent eclipse and located in Aries, your sector of communications, curiosity, and learning. It could manifest as a disturbing factor, as your thought process regarding your identity and your values continues to expand. There could be idealism or illusion that could come crashing down into the real, along with more practical approaches that seem also insufficient to account for all that is currently transpiring within you. This might leave you almost tongue-tied to explain to others where life seems to be taking you. There is a steep learning curve involved here, partaking of the mystical, as you attempt to understand the evolution of your innermost principles and values as independent from the pressures of consensus thinking or your early conditioning. All this is unfolding within you as March begins, with also the retrograde of Mercury through Pisces, or your sector of resources and values, signifying a reflective time period when you could be questioning your basic assumptions. This introspective period lasts throughout March when you take the post-retrograde shadow period into account. The second eclipse of this potent season is the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of March 3rd, taking place in your eighth sector of intimacy, partnership agreements, and personal evolution, and bringing up issues of self and other, along with the ongoing review and reorientation regarding your innermost principles and values that is implied in this Mercury/” class=”air” title=”Click to learn more…” data-toggle=”tooltip” data-placement=”bottom”>Mercury Retrograde. The late Pisces New Moon of the 18th and the Aries Equinox of the 20th, when the Sun enters your communications sector, and Mercury stations to direct motion constitute another set of powerful junctures as the March month winds down. All in all, this is an extremely transformative month that yet represents a powerful opening to your more integrated future self that is being born.

The following was written by our guest astrologer, Lauren Hansen. You can find her here.

Previous New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius – February 17th
During the first half of March, the late New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius continues to activate the most sensitive part of the chart – your first sector of selfhood, individuality, and self-expression! Your second sector of self-worth, core values and physical resources might also be wrapped up in this powerful and personal turning point. Eclipses act as catalysts for profound change; this one likely signals a shift in your core identity, how you navigate your life and possibly even your appearance. We find, in addition to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, described below, which is featured in the recent eclipse, a good dose of Pluto, still in your sign, representing another transformative factor. Uranus’ close square to Sun and Moon in this eclipse magnifies the eclipse’s destabilizing energy, which is why it may be best to let events unfold, practice adaptability and welcome the changing tide.

Saturn-Neptune Conjunction – Strongest to March 7th
This month, the Saturn-Neptune alignment continues to plant vital seeds of change in your third sector. A new relational and mental structure is emerging – certain rigid or heavy thought patterns dissolve, superficial communications no longer satisfy, and you’re ready to commit your mind to a new subject or focus. This alignment acts as a mental reality check, making you fully aware of the internal thoughts that distract and scatter you – providing a clearing for a new level of mental focus to manifest. As your mental world shifts, rose-colored glasses pertaining to siblings, neighbors or local communities come off. Through this disillusionment, you begin to notice new ways to relate that result in more authentic connection. Over time, the rippling out of this transit might assist you in solidifying disciplined thought patterns, committing to new subjects you deeply care about, and forming grounded relationships within your community and with siblings.

Mars Enters Pisces – March 2nd
Mars plunges into your second house of income and self-worth for five weeks, providing a high-voltage adrenaline shot to your earning power. However, this is a double-edged sword: Mars pushes you to make money while enticing you to spend it impulsively. Expect an urgent energy that may trigger an irritating need to overspend or cause fluctuations in your bank account. As Mars riles up your sense of value, any situation where you feel unappreciated may spark conflict. Use this restless heat constructively by cutting draining habits, defending your professional worth, and fiercely protecting your core values.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – March 3rd
The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo brings a surge of emotional awareness to your eighth house of shared resources, subconscious compulsions, and deep transformation. This potent lunation is heightened by a Pisces stellium in opposition, casting a revealing light on your second sector of self-worth and tangible assets. You may expect a catalytic event to spark a turning point – one that may shift a bank account, or a partnership agreement, your relationship with crisis, or your perspective on mortality. A profound realization regarding a partner’s finances or your own capacity for intimacy can also occur. Fortunately, with Jupiter’s supportive sextile to this lunation, there is ample room for growth, and even good luck. The most intense revelations may actually pave the way for positive outcomes and the manifestation of a more empowered, stable future.

Sun Trine Jupiter – March 3rd – 6th
For a few days, the Pisces Sun in your second sector forms a supportive trine to exalted Jupiter in your sixth, marking one of the month’s most auspicious windows! This alignment creates a symbiotic link between productivity and profit—ensuring that the energy you pour into your daily tasks yields a tangible financial return. New avenues for income may become available, fueled by a natural urge to demonstrate your value. Fortunately, during this transit, feeling competent and useful comes effortlessly. Because the sixth sector governs physical well-being, you may find yourself finally feeling worthy enough to invest in the unglamorous essentials that fortify your vitality and support your health.

Venus Enters Aries – March 6th
As Venus enters Aries—her sign of detriment—and your third sector, your communication style becomes sweetly direct. You’ll feel a bold urge to announce your desires and may find yourself enticed by a new subject that sparks a spontaneous need to learn. This transit favors fun with siblings and neighbors, an appreciation for local community, and a flair for mental competition. Daily commutes could feel more energized and aesthetically pleasing as well. However, with Venus weakened and Mercury retrograde, you may want to resist the impulse to sign contracts.

Venus Conjunct Neptune and Saturn – March 6th – 9th
As Venus instills the Saturn-Neptune alignment with her disarming attitude, you may become more gentle with yourself while recognizing the limiting thought patterns you carry. This transit encourages a “honey over vinegar” approach; as a new communicative structure forms, you’ll find that kindness and compromise are your most effective tools. Venus acts as a balm during this potentially painful period of disillusionment, soothing the mind through its momentous shift. Her presence ensures that the emerging foundations within your community and sibling relationships are more supportive and beneficial.

Jupiter Stations Direct in Cancer – March 10th
Jupiter’s direct station in Cancer elevates the sixth sector, fostering a productive, “can-do” spirit regarding daily work. A surge of excitement around getting tedious tasks done, married with a positive impulse to be productive and helpful, pours over you. You may feel more empathetic toward coworkers and willing to lend a hand, which often coincides with receiving unexpected help, guidance, or recognition in return. As your confidence in your work ethic grows, the workplace becomes genuinely more fulfilling. This expansive energy also touches your physical well-being, where a lingering health issue may finally begin to repair itself or a long-awaited cure is found.

Mercury Retrograde Conjunct Mars – March 13th – 15th
As Mercury retrogrades alongside Mars in your second sector, you may face frustrating financial delays and a necessary reassessment of your physical resources. This heated alignment often causes old, unproductive spending habits to resurface, tempted by a sudden, restless urge to consume. Rather than reacting to this friction, it would be wise to reexamine your budget and earning capacity while taking stock of your assets. Use this impulsive energy to strategize new ways to generate income, but allow the retrograde haze to lift before finalizing any major contracts or new financial commitments.

New Moon in Pisces – March 18th
The New Moon in late Pisces activates your second sector of physical resources, core values and self-worth – ushering in a fresh start by providing you with emotional clarity in this department. Your third sector of mental functions and activities might also come into focus as this lunation is close to the Aries sign. A supportive sextile from Uranus in your fourth sector might reflect further surprise events and unexpected revelations, perhaps a happy change in domestic life, or the ability to be adaptable with your family, as things around family life may also be going through significant changes.

Aries Equinox – March 20th
The moment the Sun enters Aries, the Aries Equinox hits and the start of the astrological new year begins! This annual transit powerfully illuminates your third sector – encouraging spontaneous short trips, picking up new subjects and sharing your thoughts and opinions boldly! Attention is also focused on your relationship with siblings and neighbors – how they affect you and how you relate to them can shift as you are more conscious of the dynamic you have with them.

Mercury Stations Direct – March 20th
As Mercury stations direct in your second sector, any confusion surrounding your income, worth or values finally begins to clear. Mental fog is slowly replaced by a sharp understanding of who and what you value, while frustrating financial delays also begin to dissipate. This is the ideal window to articulate your worth! With Mercury direct, you can safely review and sign financial contracts that were previously mired in retrograde uncertainty.

Sun Conjunct Saturn and Neptune – March 20th – 26th
As the Sun highlights this rare Saturn–Neptune meeting, the major realizations emerging within your third sector stand out more distinctly! The Aries Sun also emboldens you to make the intentional adjustments necessary to build a more authentic structure around your opinions and your relationship to your community and possibly siblings. It would be wise to follow your enthusiastic curiosities about your local environment and dabble with new mental pathways.

Venus Conjunct Eris and Chiron – March 20th – 26th
As Venus conjuncts Chiron and Eris in your third sector, old wounds created during early schooling may resurface, along with wounds around fitting in with your community or getting along with siblings. Leverage the softening presence of Venus to approach these feelings with self-compassion, using creative outlets and supportive bonds to fuel your healing process.

Venus Enters Taurus – March 30th
As Venus ingresses into her sign of domicile, Taurus, she happily enters your fourth sector of the emotional foundation, home and family. Your attitude towards familial responsibilities mellow, domestic joy is likely and your internal world is easily soothed through bonding with loved ones. Venus also slips artistry into this sector – you may practice interior design, while also adding comforts and luxury as you are focused on improving and beautifying your home.

Pisces Horoscope March 2026

PISCES (Feb 19 - Mar 20) Water. Ruling Planets Neptune, Jupiter

This is yet another month, Pisces, of outer planet involvement with the lunation configurations that guide its progress, in this case encompassing two eclipses, the previous late Aquarius eclipse New Moon of mid-February and the subsequent Virgo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of early March, taking place on the 3rd. With the New Moon eclipse before March began, whose thirty-day lunation cycle extends into the first two and a half weeks of the current month, this was also the timing of the nearly exact collision at 0° Aries of the limitations of Saturn with your ruler Neptune, where the limited and boundary-filled senex archetype, that of Saturn, meets the boundary-less and otherworldly transpersonal archetype of Neptune, creating a degree of ideological division as exemplified in the collocative, especially here in the US, and also in your individual psyche. For members of your sign, this landed in your second sector of resources and values, including finances, all of which might suffer from idealism or downright illusion, or the freedom from illusion found in the too, too, solid circumstance of the human condition. There are also highlighted archetypal presences of Uranus and Pluto in this recent New Moon eclipse, leading you into deep-seated transformation, and the retrograde of Mercury through your sign, lasting all month when you take the wo-week post-retrograde shadow period into account. This is therefore an introspective and a self-reflective time for you as you question pretty much everything including the foundations of your very identity. There is also a cosmic mandate that the principles and values that are yours and yours alone are an important focus now; and it is important that those that you most deeply espouse be independent of the influence of consensus thinking or early conditioning. The March 3rd Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in your sign brings up issues of self and other, and of honoring your key relationships and the role that they play in helping you to evolve along the lines that you were designed to follow. This is no easy thing to manifest, of course, and yet it is also vital that you do so, making some degree of progress, as you can, over the course of these difficult and yet rewarding months. The final two weeks of March are heralded by the New Moon in your sign of the 18th and the subsequent Aries Equinox of the 20th, when Mercury also stations to direct motion, to slowly recover over the following weeks, into April.

The following was written by our guest astrologer, Lauren Hansen. You can find her here.

Previous New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius – February 17th
For the month’s first two weeks, the Solar Eclipse New Moon in late Aquarius continues to activate your twelfth sector of unconscious material, retreat, and inner work as well as impacting your first sector of selfhood and personal identity. Because of a tight square to Uranus, this recent eclipse could enliven emotional revelations and surprising changes within yourself and within key partnerships – perhaps making you more aware of what it’s time to let go of as well as who you are becoming in that process. Your worldview is shifting and could continue to alter, and profound insights could be flooding your consciousness and affecting your attitude toward your vocational choices and sense of purpose in your outer world pursuits. Mercury is also highlighted in your sign all month, as it stationed retrograde in your sign before the March month began and will be standing dead still in the sky on the 20th, before turning around to re-transit the middle degrees of Pisces in its post-retrograde shadow period, with the missed connections and other retrograde symptoms gradually easing off, up until the second week of April.

You may experience disillusionment around how you have been budgeting or earning. Since this aspect can feel confusing or disorienting at times, it might help to build your capacity with uncertainty. Frustration, irritation and anger tend to more easily find their way onto your path during this transit as you may feel the impulse to rush and do things on your own accord.

Your partner or those you’re in close connection with, including business partnerships, may help you understand yourself and your relationship dynamics. A powerful turning point through self-realization, or within relationship, could provide a clearing – allowing for more harmony between your awareness of self – versus your awareness of the needs of others. Jupiter’s heroic involvement with this eclipse additionally supports positive and growth-oriented outcomes to any realizations, discussions, or projects that occur around this potent turning point.

Sun Trine Jupiter – March 3rd – 6th

You might even discover you have access to a new resource or that a compromise is ready and available to smooth out a financial worry that has been on your mind recently.

Jupiter Stations Direct in Cancer – March 10th
Jupiter stations direct in Cancer, positively enhancing your fifth sector of romantic love, children, and creative expression – directly affecting your sense of self and who you are on the world stage, possibly professionally. The need to express yourself creatively or to connect with your children, could take a sudden extra emphasis or Jupiter may aid in providing you with a much-needed romantic resurgence. Appreciating, creating and playing with artistry is likely to feel fulfilling during this transit – and it may catalyze you into a better sense of self and becoming closer to who you want to be on the world stage.

Mercury Retrograde Conjunct Mars – March 13th – 15th
As Mercury retrogrades in conjunction with Mars, in your first sector of identity, personal perspective and your body/appearance — you might reflect on how you identify with your anger. Your second sector of self-worth, physical resources, money and core values could also be affected, emphasizing additional focus there. Unexpected enlightenment or surprise events might occur at any time – while you’re driving around your neighborhood, talking with siblings or journaling in private. During this lunation as well, your ongoing reflective process of introspection and review of intentions, goals, and internal principles and values could inspire resultant realizations, catalyzing clarity around who and what you truly value and how comfortable you may be able to feel in your own skin. Overview Of Planets This Month

A March Month of Further Change and Reaction to Change

This is another month when the astrology seems quite consequential and redolent of change on both personal and collective levels. We have two eclipses, since the effects of the recent Solar Eclipse from mid-February in the last few degrees of Aquarius are very much still with is as the March month begins. The subsequent Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Virgo comes along early in the month’s first week, on the 3rd. These extra-powerful lunations are accompanied by prominent positions of outer planets to go along with that sense of urgency, with the recent New Moon being in extremely close square to Uranus, located in the final degrees of Taurus, and additionally highlighting the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at the Aries Point, while Pluto in that configuration was in almost perfect parallel with a stationing Jupiter and square the new 21st century planet Haumea, to the minute of a degree. The thirty-day lunation cycle that was initiated twelve days before the beginning of the current month still has some two and a half weeks yet to go before being ended by the late Pisces New Moon of March 18th. Of all these outer planet factors, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction that was in the recent Aquarius eclipse New Moon still a few days away from finding its perfection is probably the most important. This presages a troublesome March, with the eclipse effects additionally lasting into the summer months. In July and August, we will also encounter the next same-degree alignment of Uranus and Pluto in trine, with Neptune at their mid-point, so that 2026 might turn out to be quite a lot like the difficult 2025 year that we have just experienced.

In framing the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and its effects on the first half, or more, of March, it is quite interesting to note their alignment at the 0° mark of Aries, the very first degree of the Tropical Zodiac. The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A woman rises out of the sea, and a seal rises to embrace her,” which is an image of the primacy of Nature in human affairs, a factor we might need to more greatly acknowledge in the cultural awakening of this difficult decade. There is also contained within this symbol the idea that originally, earthly life itself was created from the ocean, plus the fact that it is the oceanic Pisces sign that precedes the degree of 0° Aries, in an eternal spiraling cycle.

It is also interesting to note that the fairly wide Uranus-Pluto trine that is another hallmark of these 2025-2026 years, with Pluto in the recent eclipse at 4° Aquarius and Uranus at 27° Taurus, has as its midpoint the same 0° Aries, highlighting the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. This conjunction is also, notably, one of essentially antithetical archetypes, with Saturn representing the physical 3D world of the here and now, while Neptune is emblematic of what is completely beyond the physical, so that their coming together represents in part an unresolvable ideological divide that we can see clearly reflected in the current social situation, especially here in the US. Noted astrologer Rick Tarnas commented in 2016 that these two planets in combination in their World Transit can indicate “Red states and Blue states,” separate ideologies where neither side can see – at all – the point of view of the other. How that plays out in our individual lives is difficult to grasp and could be summarized as a process of illusion (Neptune) and the coming down from that in terms of disillusion via a strong competing does of reality (Saturn) or else in a more positive way as the Spiritual infusing itself into ordinary life, which we may also see as the March month continues to unwind.

The factor of strong Uranus, due to Sun and Moon in close aspect to the Trickster planet both in the recent eclipse that governs the first part of the March month, and also in the late Pisces New Moon of the 18th, is a strong indication of surprise events and unexpected enlightenment as we move forward into March, where we also find a rogue Mercury supplying its own form of unexpected information that can result from the introspection and questioning of the Mercury Retrograde period. This period lasts all month long, with Mercury’s station to direct motion on the 20th, and its recovery over the next two weeks or so of the post-retrograde shadow period.

The March 18th New Moon in late Pisces also sees a strong Aries stellium a couple of degrees away from the positions of Sun and Moon, where we find, in order, Neptune, Saturn, highlighted Venus, followed by Chiron and Eris in close conjunction, no fewer than seven planets, and all in the Aries sign at the timing of the Aries Equinox two days later, on the 20th.

All in all, this is another extremely powerful month that will test us and challenge us to be at our best as we strive to evolve along with the changes of an evolving culture. It is still, in the midst of everything, time, and past time, for everyone to stand up and be counted. We can, in these climactic societal moments, vote with our voices and our commentary, plus we can vote with our dollars and with our protest marches. And in November we can, hopefully, vote with our votes.
